2 Corinthians 2:19-20
For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among by me and Silas and Timothy was not “Yes” and “No” but in him it has always been “Yes” For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.
It says here, in Christ it has always been “Yes”. Yes for what? Yes for all the promises of God, and through Him the only word that will be spoken by us is “AMEN” for His glory.
What does it mean? Every time you read a promise in the Bible, all you need to do is believe by saying “Amen”
Let’s try Deuteronomy 28:3-13a
3You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country…”AMEN”
4The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of your land and the young of your livestock—the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks….”AMEN”
5Your basket and your kneading trough will be blessed…”AMEN”
6You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out…”AMEN”
7The LORD will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven….”AMEN”
8The LORD will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The LORD your God will bless you in the land he is giving you….”AMEN”
9The LORD will establish you as his holy people, as he promised you on oath, if you keep the commands of the LORD your God and walk in his ways. …”AMEN”
10Then all the peoples on earth will see that you are called by the name of the LORD, and they will fear you….”AMEN”
11The LORD will grant you abundant prosperity—in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your ground—in the land he swore to your forefathers to give you…”AMEN”
12The LORD will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. “AMEN”
13The LORD will make you the head, not the tail.”AMEN”
But don’t be sad my friend, because it says in Corinthians all the promises of God are Yes in Him. Did the Bible contradict itself? Not really, the condition in Deuteronomy has fulfilled by someone. He did the thing that we can never do. He fulfilled the requirement of the Law; He came here not to abolish the Law but to fulfill it. He never sinned (Hebrew 4:15). I am referring to Jesus Christ. He bore our sins, when He hanged on the tree, all the curses fell on Him, the wrath of God that must be born buy us, fell on Him. That’s why when he was on the cross; Jesus Christ shouted “My God, my God why have you forsaken me. Jesus Christ usually call the Father “”Father” but this time He called the Father, “My God” because during that time, the Father turned His back to His begotten Son, what the Father saw, was the Sin of the world on Jesus Christ. When Jesus Christ shouted “It is finished” our sins has been paid, the requirement of the Law has been fulfilled, no more animal sacrifices every year for the forgiveness of sins. The veil was torn.
And so Paul said in Christ all the promises of God has always been yes. We are not qualified to receive the blessing but Jesus Christ qualified us. We don’t deserve it. But that’s’ Grace-undeserved favor.
So the next time you read the promises of God in the Bible, just shout “Amen Lord, I receive it” if the devil whisper to you, oh oh, the bible says if you do that or do this, just shout at Him “YES”…..and He whispers again…but you just….don’t let him finish…shout back at Him “Amen” and the devil will flee from youJ
Now there is one condition for this… it easy I know you can do it. You must have Jesus in your Life. How can you that? Simply just pray this prayer.
As simple as that? Yes, simple as that. Religion will tell you to do that or this, but Christianity says, it’s done my friend, all you need to do is accept the gift, its’s free. So what are you waiting for. IT’S FREE, why don’t you try that.
IF YOU HAVE PRAYED THIS PRAYER, JUST LET ME KNOW.
