FEED YOUR SOUL

Look at the tress, no one takes care of them. Their life is not shorten by sickness or with their labor, yet they need to drink the rain from heaven and suck from the treasures of earth. Day after day they nourished themselves from the fresh food drawn from the soil.

Much more with us men, we toil, we get tired, we get weary, we faint. How much more that we need to be renewed everyday. Our body is nourished by the food that we intake, how about our soul. Where do we get nourishment? Our life can not be sustained without renewal from God. Let the Word of God be the food of our soul. As our body eats frequently and so with our soul. Let us draw near through our prayers to the God who renews our strength day after day. Just like the trees let us feed our soul with the freshness of His Word and drink from the water of heaven through our prayers.

Have you been tired lately, have you been so weak, have you been weary. Could it be that you are not taking care of your soul.

Isaiah 40:31 “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and now grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

  1. Love the picture of the trees. We are having a severe drought in the Southeastern U.S. and I have been looking at how the trees thrive no matter what. When I get weary, you’re right I need to see where I am in seeking my help from the Lord. Thanks for the inspiration.

  2. This is beautiful as usual. God’s words are, and when his people feel refreshment from those words and feed them into their souls, the peace is indescribable! Thank you so much for this. I really needed it today. Hugs and God’s blessings to you!
