Then Sings my Soul Saturday-By Your Side

Maybe we still have this feeling of condemnation even after becoming a Christian for so many years,  maybe until now we are still trying to be good enough to earn grace and his forgiveness, maybe we’ve been trying hard to perform to earn His love, maybe we’ve been doubting His love for us or maybe because of the sins we have committed in the past we still have this thought, how can He ever forgive the sins i have committed.

Remember this,  Christ died for the unworthy, He died for us, when we were still sinners. God loves us for who we are not for what we can do for Him. The Father’s love for us is unconditional. We may fail and mess up. But He can still accept us and love us.  His radical love drives us to love Him more, hate our sins and follow Him.

Listen to this song from Tenth Avenue North, this might be you, i hope and pray that this song will minister to you.

Why are you striving these days
Why are you trying to earn grace
Why are you crying
Let me lift up your face
Just don’t turn away

Why are you looking for love
Why are you still searching as if I’m not enough
To where will you go child
Tell me where will you run
To where will you run

And I’ll be by your side
Wherever you fall
In the dead of night
Whenever you call
And please don’t fight
These hands that are holding you
My hands are holding you

Look at these hands and my side
They swallowed the grave on that night
When I drank the world’s sin
So I could carry you in
And give you life
I want to give you life

Cause I, I love you
I want you to know
That I, I love you
I’ll never let you go

May you have a blessed weekend!

  1. How thankful I am that God’s grace is a free gift. He loves me and there’s nothing I can do to make Him love me more. Jesus paid it all with His perfect sacrifice for my sin.

If anything, my actions flow out of a heart of love. When we realize what He’s done for us, how can we not love in response?

    Great song and message.

    Blessings and love,
    Debbie
