Multitudes on Mondays


Brokenness, the more I feel and see how broken I am, the more I cling to The Lord.

A gentle reminder from Him to live for the present and not for the future.

The gift of “now” reminding myself to live in the present is somehow giving me peace and rest.

Grace, everyday is grace from God, no matter how imperfect life may be, my ability to go through with life is grace from Him

My mess, shouting at my children, trying to manipulate them, choosing anger instead of understanding.  I’m not proud of those, yes Lord I need you more, and thank You for changing me each day.

Thank You for allowing me to grow as a mother to my children and wife to my husband.

Thank you Holy Spirit for rebuking me and allowing me to repent. Remind me always not to do it again and if ever I slip again, may you not get tired of pulling me up. May you soften my heart that I may repent hastily

Thankful for the rain, it seldom rains here.

Thankful for the air was good  and we were able to go out.

Today the weather isn’t that hot, I’m thankful for that.

Thankful when the children are playing and sleeping, oh how I need quietness, I feel refreshed and energized when the house is quite. This is my “me” time, thinking, reflecting and meditating.

Thankful for the people who mentored me from afar, I read their books and blog, Frank Viola, Max Lucado and Phillip Yancey.

Thankful for the weather, it’s not too hot today. The air is good as well

Thankful for the book I’m reading “When Will My Life not Suck”

Thankful for I have time to read books.

Thankful that I can be with my children for this season of their life, watching them, taking care of their needs.

Thankful for the songs I’m listening, it quiets my soul.

Thankful for a sister who is generous.

Meeting relatives before leaving.

Dining out for free, the owner of the restaurant didn’t charge us and the food was  wonderful.

Thankful for the washer 

AC finally summer has arrived

 Visit in the park

 Seeing my children’s excitement every time we go out.

 The happiness I can see in my children’s face when they play with their father.

 Thankful for the food here, I will surely miss them when we move to the Philippines.

 Roasted duck, I love it.

 Lamb, love the taste.

Bountiful supply of fruits like Cherries, Water melon, Apricot etc, etc. they’re pretty cheap here.

 Listening to my 22 month daughter talking, she’s funny.

 An inquisitive 3-year-old daughter

 A husband who is wise in handling money.

 Thankful fur the household chores, they are my therapy

I’m in the process of learning and mastering contentment, I’m thankful for that, I desire to be what Apostle Paul said in Philippians 4:12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.

The grace to live each day.

Ability to taste food

Ability to talk

Ability to hear.

Ability to feel

Ability to see.

Ability to walk.

Living a simple life, fewer worries, less expenses, less stress, more time for the family.

Counting my Blessings!


Couple of months ago I taught my 3-year-old how to read using the book Teach your child to read in 100 easy lessons. We were able to finish the book in a month, I am thankful for her patience and her willingness to learn, she loves learning and reading.

My husband hasn’t been working since November, I am constantly amazed of how our needs are being met. It’s amazing, I even stop worrying. I am more at peace now than when he was still working. Yes, I can honestly say  we have everything we need. The Lord is good, faithful and true.

The simple joy of drinking coffee.

Thankful for the clean air lately, we were able to go out.

The smell of my two babies, I love smelling them. It’s therapeutic

Giggling and laughing from my two daughters.

The joy it gives me while watching my two daughters ages 39 and 22 months conversing with each other. They speak Chinese and I have no clue what they’re talking about.

Thankful for my husband’s cooking.

Thankful for these promises from The Lord.

The silver is Mine and the gold is Mine,’ declares the Lord of hosts. ‘The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts, ‘and in this place I will give peace,’ declares the Lord of hosts.” (Haggai 2:8, 9 NASB)

For the lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.” (Zephaniah 3:17 NLT)

I am Thankful……

(159-171) IMG_1353for the tress outside our windows, every time I look outside, these trees remind me of God’s grace and faithfulness. They never toil nor spin yet The Lord sustains them. If the Father take care of these tress how much more will He provide all our needs.

for the birds I see outside our windows, they constantly reminding me of God’s love, their presence reminds me that I’m valuable. They neither sow nor reap, they have no storeroom or barn and yet God feeds them. Indeed I am more important than them. 2735_68035339450_892650_n

for 5 years of marriage, boy it wasn’t always blissful, truly I am thankful for His grace we were able to reach this milestone.

that my visa was extended, it was a frustrating and nerve-wracking ordeal, they’re stricter here than Guangzhou.

that after 5 years of staying here, we finally move to the Philippines and hopefully this is for good.

we are all healthy and haven’t visited the hospital for almost a year now. for the free ebooks from and and the free songs from

for our needs are being met each day. for allowing me to face my fears and giving me the grace to embrace them.

for giving me the grace to live each day. Indeed He is good and faithful.

Grateful…yes I am

Thankful for allowing me to be in this situation, I have learned to appreciate the things I took for granted in the past. You’ve taught me to enjoy and appreciate every season of  life, i wish I’ve realized that before.

Thank you for allowing me to accept our current situation.

Thank you for the healthy, fresh and abundant food we are eating everyday.

Thank you for letting me lose some pounds.

Thank you for we are all well.

Thank you for letting my two year old daughter sang God is good all the time and you are my hiding place, during the times that I felt low. The songs reminded me of your goodness and faithfulness, no matter what we are into, the fact remains, you are good and faithful.

Thank for paying our expenses.

Thank you for giving my husband the wisdom on how to handle money. I don’t need to tell everything but you know what I meant.

Thank you for the book I’m reading, the book speaks to me and I know it’s you who’s speaking you’re just using the book.

Thank you for letting me feel hopeful today.

Have I told you before how much I’m thankful for the house we are staying, I thought it’s not your will for us to stay in this house, I realized it was also part of your plan, what if we are renting while Albert has no job we would be spending a lot without any income, thank you so much

Thank you for helping me not to desire clothes, shoes and other material things. I’m really thankful that you are meeting our needs. Right now I’m no longer asking for the things we don’t need.

Thank you for teaching me to live simply, and teaching me to set aside my wants.

Thank you for teaching me to appreciate even the smallest things, like the toothpaste, brush, floss, soap, etc.

Thank you for we can still use internet.

Thank you for teaching me through my children. They are happy because their needs are being met. They don’t need new clothes to be happy, they don’t new toys to be happy. As long as we are here with them, as long as they have enough food. You know, we’re able to meet their needs. You are teaching me to be like them, as long as you are with me I should be happy, and as long as you’re with me my needs are being met.

Thank you for teaching me that you alone is the true source of joy.

Thank you for reminding me everyday that I’m a work in progress and i don’t need to be stressed. I’m still messing up, I shout at my kids, my husband and I argue from time to time.

But most of all thank you for your mercy, grace and love, they are new every morning

Happy Birthday to Me

imageThank you for giving me another year of life. No celebration, no cake, no gifts, I am grateful though for the inner peace in spite of our current situation. Today I am reminded of so many things.

Life is very short.

Meeting You is getting nearer. Each day past is one less of the number You set for me.

Time is precious.

Material things are just but “things”, having You is having everything.

Each day is a gift and an opportunity to glorify and seek you.

I want You more than anything else in this world.

If you ever ask me to choose between riches and salvation of my entire family, I will choose the latter.

And here’s my birthday wish:

First, help me never to tell a lie. Second, give me neither poverty nor riches! Give me just enough to satisfy my needs. For if I grow rich, I may deny you and say, “Who is the Lord ?” And if I am too poor, I may steal and thus insult God’s holy name. (Proverbs 30:8, 9 NLT)
